Izayah’s mom contacted us and informed us about Izayah, an adorable 5 year old boy who has many issues, including digestive problems, a creostomy tube, failure to thrive and anxiety. Izayah, you are a true warrior, and we hope that your health improves with each coming day. We are so overwhelmed with all that you face each day, and we are so awed by your courage and perseverance. Know that everyday you are in our thoughts, and we are with you in this fight.
It is so upsetting how much sick children have to endure, all the medical procedures, shots, daily inconveniences, pokes, medicines (and their side effects) to get healthy. Don’t get me wrong, I am glad we have the medical advances to help these sick warriors, but I know how difficult it is to hold down a baby/toddler (even child) for injections and the like. I am amazed by these mothers and fathers and applaud them for their patience, love for their children and the persistence to “keep on truckin”.
I hope that the sock monkey hat continues to bring smiles to Izayah’s face, which will make Mommy & Daddy smile too.
