These hats are adorable. What # peg round loom do you use for preemie hats, & how many inches long. Also do u use 2 strands of yarn or 1. I would like make a few & donate them. Thanks, Sheila

For preemies, we use the newborn loom (24 pegs), for a micro preemie, we use the scarf loom and go around 14-20 pegs. The average length of a preemie hat is 4 to 4 1/2 inches long from brim to top. If the yarn is thin, we use 2 strands. If the yarn is thicker, we use 1 strand. We would love to receive your creations, from micro preemie to adult- we need all sizes :).
