Last week, our dear friend, Melissa was able to deliver 123 items to the Pediatric Oncology Unit at CHOC (Children’s Hospital in Orange County). It included 3 scarves, 1 headband and 119 hats of various styles, colors, and sizes.

With the holiday spirit, we were able to give 394 items to spread hope in December! We donated 110 hats for babies in Orange County St. Joe’s Hospital, 153 hats & 12 scarves to a local homeless shelter and 110 chemo caps, 11 booties, and 3 shawls to CHOC!

In honor of his auntie, my son took in 25 adult hats for chemo warriors to the Ontario Kaiser Oncology Unit where Wanda would fight the Pancreatic Cancer.

As part of our second round of deliveries, we were able to deliver 160 hats to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, who were very excited to receive all these hats!

Our sweet friend, Melissa did the leg work to make this delivery happen! We sent these 95 hats and the 65 hats that Pasadena Stake Relief Society made with their own special notes to our recipients!
The muscle that helps
I am so grateful to everyone involved in spreading love and hope into the world with this delivery! I was especially proud that my son tries to help in areas that he can, with muscle for moving the deliveries and counting the hats!

For the first portion of our delivery, we have 521 hats, 4 blanket sets (blanket and matching hats), 4 booties and 2 headbands for babies at St. Joseph in Orange County! We gathered, photographed, labeled and counted all the baby hats we received to put together this delivery. Then we delivered several bags full of hats to our sweet friend, Melissa to do the leg work and take them to St. Joseph’s.
We are grateful to all involved for making this happen! This is an amazing amount of love and hope!

My mother and son went to deliver some hats to Loma Linda University Hospital. For this delivery, we were able to contribute 162 children & teenager cancer warrior hats and 66 hats for babies!

Yesterday, my kids delivered 151 baby items to the Kaiser NICU in Ontario. This delivery included 130 hats, 2 headbands, 9 sets (that included hats and booties) and 10 booties– all perfectly sized for the wee little ones.

A little before Christmas, we gathered hats, scarves, and some lap blankets to deliver for December. We had 115 items altogether– 46 hats for babies, 3 lap blankets, 56 hats for child & teenaged chemo warriors and 10 scarves.
We want to thank everyone who helped make this delivery possible- the knitters, cutting and punching holes in the labels, attaching the labels to the hats, photographing and counting the hats, and the actual delivery! We also greatly appreciate your support and kind words!
