Wally-Booties-Shawls

Her note reads:

Greetings!  My name is Waleska, founder of MIsion en Movimienta, Making Lil’ Heads Warm- Fee Looking Chic.  I started this mission 5 years ago, sending St. Jude Children’s Hospital crochet beanies and slilppers.  Then helping other Missioners with different articles like flip-flops, school supplies and more, reaching countries like India, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

I am feeling very blessed and thankful to have the opportunity to be a part of your mission/project.
I started crocheting years ago as a hobby, then learning it was a Call to Help others.

That’s how it turned into a Mission. ❤

I’ll love to keep having the opportunity to crochet for your mission.  Count on me if so!

You can look me up on Facebook and see what I do

New Utrecht High School sends Hope

We received 2 boxes full of hats of all sizes and styles from a teacher and students from New Utrecht High School in New York.

We are so impressed when youth get involved in making a difference in the world- showing compassion and love for strangers is a lesson that few understand until much later in life.

A note from Ms. Liz reads:

Attached you will find 53 hats (20, adults, 16 kids and 17 toddler/baby) made for your organization.  I am honored to present you with this contribution on behalf of my students and hope that it will help you in keeping all those in need safe and warm.

I look forward to continue our contributions in the near future.  Thank you from myself and my crafting students for giving us the opportunity to be a part of it.

We are so proud of everyone involved and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Thank you!
