Spreading Hope…a hat at a time.

Last week, we mailed out 125 hats for babies in the NICU at Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach.

125 hats for babies

We are extremely grateful to everyone who contributed to shipment- these hats came from far and near!  Our friends are just so awesome– they must be constantly making hats!  I would also like to thank my children for helping labeling, which included cutting and punching holes into the labels and then attaching them to each hat.

I am so proud to say with this shipment, our counter for Total Hats Contributed is 2,553!

We are very appreciative to all those who helped spread hope!

  1. do you have certain patterns that you want made? Where do we send finished hats? Are we supposed to label the hats ourselves? I have some hats made, but not sure they are the right pattern. Barb Date: Fri, 20 Mar 2015 13:20:12 +0000 To: bpasse@hotmail.com

    • Hi Barb! We accept all hats, crocheted, knitted, loomed, even sewn, so basically any pattern will work :). We also accept scarves, blankets, lap blankets, and even stuff animals. No- we will label the hats, unless it’s made of wool– those we would need to be notified. Please send all contributions to Pali Wilson- 382 N. Lemon Box 241 in Walnut, CA 91789.
Please include Box 241 as it’s a PO Type of organization.

Thanks again- we look forward to seeing what you made!
