Spreading Hope…a hat at a time.

A Lucky Mom

purple

My daughter started this over her Christmas break and I just barely finished it up for her.  Teenagers are so busy these days- she is much busier than I was at her age.  It seems our daily lives are so busy that I look forward to when we can actually schedule some downtime.  My daughter is a dedicated student and has her nose in the books for hours on end, and when she is not studying, she is practicing her basketball or doing the online driver’s training course.  In addition, she is dedicated to contributing to Knitting Rays of Hope with making hats, cutting the labels and tagging the hats and anything else that her crazy mom needs.  I consider myself lucky to have such a great daughter with a heart of gold.

This is super! You have a great daughter from what you have said. I’m working on my first box of hats to send off to Knitting Rays of Hope soon. I’m so thrilled to have found an organization to donate to with my knitting. I’ve just picked it up over the past 2 years and love it. I have evenings to myself & this fills my time. I’ve prayed for direction to a cause such as this & now it’s here!

    • Thanks and yes she is really great! I am so happy to hear that you are willing to also be part of Team Knitting Rays of Hope! We can’t wait to see your beautiful creations! And what timing! We just started about 2 years ago. 🙂 Your hats will make such a difference to cancer warriors fighting by providing hope and showing love as well as providing warmth. Thank you!
