Spreading Rays of Hope…a hat at a time

World Cancer Day

Yesterday was World Cancer Day.  We want to be sure that everyday is a World Cancer Day!  It is important to raise awareness and to promote early detection.  We believe that one day there will be a cure for cancer, and we pray for that day to be sooner rather than later.  We are praying for a day that we no longer lose loved ones, and that everyone is a survivor.  When we started this blog we had no idea that we would find and connect with so many amazing people. The Knitting Rays of Hope cause has opened our eyes to the effects of cancer on the world.  We follow stories and pray for people fighting cancer.  We shed tears for those who have lost their battles whom we have never even met.  Our hearts break for the mommies and daddies and families who lose their children to cancer.  We share stories of wonderful people who receive our hats and their fight with hopes to bring more awareness.  We hope that we can continue to support those battling cancer, and we ask that you find a way to give your support as well.  This disease spares no one!  Keep spreading awareness throughout the year.  Pray for a cure.  Help in any way you can.
