Spreading Hope…a hat at a time.

We sent 120 hats for babies in the NICU to Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach.  We are extremely grateful to everyone who contributed to this shipment- these hats came from far and near!  Our friends are just so awesome and always giving– they must be constantly making hats 24/7!    We would also like to thank the young teenagers who help with our labeling, from cutting and punching holes into the labels and then attaching them to the hats.   To our loyal friend, Ant, we owe you for constantly handling the logistics of sending out the monthly shipments as well as the financial aspect.  Shipping our 120 hats for 1 month’s delivery really takes great teamwork!

Being in the spirit of the gratitude during this Thanksgiving season, I am immensely thankful to everyone who supports, follows, participates and helps the Knitting Rays of Hope cause- spreading Hope, 1 hat at a time.

I am very proud that we will be able to touch 120 families with these hats during this holiday season!
