Spreading Hope…a hat at a time.

Cathy made these hats for babies in the NICU.  Aren’t they a little big, you ask?  Actually no.   We all assume the babies in the NICU are itty bitty, but actually there are some babies that are bigger in the NICU, as we were informed from Baby Eli’s family.  Baby Eli’s auntie connected with us on Facebook and informed us of Baby Eli who was born a micro preemie at 24 weeks & 5days, and is still in the NICU at the age of 11 months.  The hats Cathy created are the perfect size for these special fighters, and we hope that this will bring families who have been struggling for a long time a brighter day. Remember that these long hospital stays are so hard on the parents and entire family and try to do what you can to brighten their day.

Carolyn, Cathy’s daughter made these 4 hats for babies in the NICU one evening at her sons’ scouts meeting.  Hats made on the 24 pegged loom (for preemie and newborn babies) are so quick to create, that it’s rewarding to see your results so lightening fast.  Keep up the great work!
