Spreading Hope…a hat at a time.

I made 2 hats for a  young teenaged girl chemo warrior.  The purple sparkly yarn is a bit difficult to work with and breaks easy when trying to tie a tight knot, but it’s so pretty and hopefully will be worth the aggravation.  Life has been moving pretty fast for me personally, and there are times when I really miss my sister-in-law.   But my brain is too jumbled to actually express anything that is cohesive or logical, so I will just give you more pictures of my recent creations.

Purple Sparkly Envelope Hat

made with purple sparkly and a black soft yarn. Pom-poms on each side.

made with purple sparkly and a white yarn.

I found a lot of this purple, sparkly yarn in my stash, that I am trying to finish off before purchasing new colors.  So wish me luck in working with this easily broken yarn.

Hope you are having a great day!

PS – I subscribe to Inspiration Peak and received this email as today’s inspirational piece… thought I would share it with you.

May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay – forever young

May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay – forever young

May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay – forever young
