Spreading Hope…a hat at a time.

I am pretty proud of my babygirl.  Yes she is 14 years old, and she will probably be embarrassed, but she is still my babygirl!  In the midst of midterms, a biology project, and deciphering Romeo & Juliet, she created two lovely hats for babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.   She went up and searched in my yarn stash for the colors and then started on these hats.  She remembered how to e-wrap , purl and close the hats without any assistance from me.  The only help I provided was the slipknot to get started.  I am proud that my husband and I are raising a responsible, compassionate and intelligent daughter who is not self-absorbed as many teenagers can be.  🙂
