Spreading Hope…a hat at a time.

We made 3 honey bee hats for babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  I loomed the hats, and Vanessa, graciously, made the antennae & pom-poms.  I’ll probably make more bees a little later, since I have more black & yellow yarns.  However, right now, I am a little frantic because I didn’t realize we would have an early Easter this year.  I was expecting it in April and just found out it was 3/31!  I would like to whip out some bunnies and chicks for Easter.

For these bee hats, I followed my usual pattern of a garter stitch brim (3 rows of e-wrap & purl alternating) and e-wrapped the rest of the hat with the color changes.
